Q: So what is it you guys do?
A: We provide services and knowledge to a broad audience for free or little cost. We are a diverse group of people with skills ranging the whole spectrum of security and general knowledge. legal service Ukraine

Q: So why make a free site?
A: This project grew amazingly fast. Originally the idea was for a team forum for us to share our ideas, and keep up on the going ons in the world, but we soon realized that we could do something about the complete lack of good security sites on the internet. Every time someone got an idea for a good idea some team member usually just did it same day. We are now working on some more complicated features that can't happen that fast. We hope we are useful, but in all honesty the site is mostly for us.

Q: So are you guys criminals?
A: Not really, well not at all, there is a certain point you reach and realize as a security consultant you can make 6 figures, without risk. We don't have a cause to fight for either for the freedom fighter criminal is not us either. Why aren't there any really smart criminals? Well because when you get educated about security you can make much more on the securing side.

Q: Why Guerrilla Research and Development?
A: Well we kind of relate with the Guerrilla dictum. This post explains what I mean. http://guerrilla-rnd.com/forum/index.php?topic=22.0 The main point however is the Guerrilla was always taught to be educated on all subjects and that what Guerrilla RnD is all about.

Q: So is all the information here "for educational purposes only?"
A: I personally don't know what else information is for. I know what your really asking though. Educational purposes only is bs. If you are a LP (loss prevention) worker at a store and what you read here helps you in your career then I guess it wasn't "just educational" in the spirit of the statement. You used the info for personal gain. (and if as a result you get a raise or something I think, you know, share the wealth.) If you use the same info to knock off a store it really has nothing to do with us. If you get caught we will laugh.

Q: What got you into security?
A: Personally I have always been interested in puzzles that are not meant to be "solved." I started picking locks at an early age just for that reason, and as a result I got money from people paying me to help them when they got locked out. As I grew older I got interested in more complex "puzzles."

Q: Can you hack so and so site for me?
A: Sure, if you can prove you own it and own the server it is on. I would be happy to do security pen-testing for your site or whole company. This feature of course Team GRnD charges for. Contact us for more info. If you don't own the site and server, GTFO for being a dumb shit.

Q: Does or would Guerrilla Research and Development work with the government?
A: We are not currently and have not in the past worked with any government agency. However depending on the task we could be open to projects with them. We would never for example add a government issued backdoor to any programs we distributed, and we would not do domestic spying for them. That said, if they want a security audit I would probably cream myself if I got the opportunity to do that. Also given a legitimate opportunity to work with the US or any government, as a contractor it would simply come down to a case by case evaluation of the work. If you are with the government and you have work you want me to help you with call me. I know you have my number somewhere.

Q: Does or would Guerrilla Research and Development work with terrorists?
A: No, Fuck Them. We are about personal freedom, terrorists do not attack countries they attack civilians, and that is the worst kind of aggression. So no we will never help them, fuck them.

Q: I have noticed throughout your site mentions of Screenwriters guide, and the movies. Is Guerrilla Research and Development actually involved in movies?
A: Yes, believe it or not. Some members of Team GRnD got into security during research for movies, and Team GRnD is contracted to assist in the plausibility of security breaches brought forth in movies. Guerrilla Research and Development members have also been know to work on their own scripts.

Q: I am starting to notice a number of things labeled as Guerrilla RnD projects, are you guys owned by a larger group, or company?
A: No, we strongly value or freedom of expression, and our ability to publish what we want. Call it "creative control." We do however take on many projects and are often working on three or seven at a time. If a company did want to buy us out, we would require that we keep our current level or "creative control." This is why we will most likely remain a contract business which I am ok with.

Q: What can I do to help?
A: Guerrilla RnD is first and foremost a community effort. It is for the community. So there are TONs of things you can do to help. First just join chill out read give opinions, spread the word. You could also help us by writing wiki articles or request to blog with us. You could donate to or invest in Guerrilla RnD. Buy stuff from us. Also another really great way you can help us that many people don't think of is to information or features. Doing this will help us know what we should focus on.
